Student Abused by Rickshaw Driver for Four Months in Burewala, Punjab Pakistan

(AFH Reports) A 19-year-old tenth-grade student was allegedly sexually abused by her school rickshaw driver for four months in the Lat Bhathiyan Wali neighborhood in Burewala, Punjab Pakistan. The horrifying crime came to light when the victim returned home late, semi-conscious, prompting her parents to investigate.

According to details, the rickshaw driver, tasked with dropping the girl home from school, repeatedly assaulted her during this period. The victim revealed that the accused threatened to kill her if she exposed the abuse. 

The parents grew suspicious when their daughter failed to return home on time. Upon searching, they found her in a semi-conscious state and immediately rushed her to the hospital. After regaining consciousness, the girl disclosed the prolonged abuse to her family. 

Medical reports confirmed the sexual assault, and it was also discovered that the victim is now pregnant. 
There is need for stricter safety measures for students during commutes. 
This shocking incident has sparked outrage in the community, with calls for better protection of minors and stricter background checks for school transport drivers.
